Dr. Heike Jacobs

Dr. Heike Jacobs is a highly experienced Consultant Neurologist with extensive expertise spanning Neurology, Psychiatry, and Neurorehabilitation. Born and raised near Cologne, Germany, she studied Philosophy and Medicine at the Free University of Berlin (FU Berlin) before completing her Facharzt (specialist) training in Neurology in 2000. Dr. Jacobs spent years working as a Consultant Neurologist in leading hospitals across central Berlin, where she performed numerous electroneurographic and electromyographic studies and helped develop Medianklinik Grünheide, a hospital dedicated to neurological and neurosurgical rehabilitation. Her work in Psychiatry included old-age psychiatry, dementia units, psychosis care, and drug addiction outpatient services. In 2003, Dr. Jacobs obtained the British Physicians License and practiced at renowned institutions in England including King's College Hospital London and the Hurstwood Park Neurological Centre at Brighton and Sussex University Hospital. She is a Member of the Royal College of Physicians (London) and the Ärztekammer Frankfurt (Germany). Throughout her distinguished career, Dr. Jacobs has held leading clinical positions and taught medical students at multiple university hospitals. Her special interests include Headache Syndromes, Movement Disorders, Neuropsychiatry, and Sleep Disorders. She brings a wealth of experience treating the full spectrum of neurological conditions and is dedicated to delivering the highest standards of evidence-based care.
