Dr. Wafaa Osman Haroun is a highly qualified Consultant in Internal Medicine specializing in Diabetes and Endocrinology, with over 20 years of clinical experience. She holds an MBBS and Clinical MD from the University of Khartoum, MRCP from the Royal College of Physicians London, and a Master's in Diabetes from Cardiff University. She also holds a Specialty Certificate in Diabetes/Endocrinology from the Royal College of Physicians and a SCOPE Certification in Obesity from the World Obesity Federation.
Dr. Wafaa has extensive experience in managing acute and chronic diseases, with particular expertise in diabetes, endocrine disorders, obesity management, and preventive care. She has served as a Senior Specialist Registrar with the Dubai Health Authority, leading non-communicable disease clinics and providing comprehensive care in diabetes, hypertension, dyslipidemia, and asthma. She is also an accomplished speaker, having presented at leading conferences and for major pharmaceutical companies including MSD, Merck, Novartis, Novo Nordisk, and AstraZeneca.
