Individual test costs are added on top — for example, a CBC is approximately AED 60, a lipid panel around AED 120, and a comprehensive metabolic panel around AED 150. We offer bundled health screening packages that provide better value for multiple tests. Insurance is accepted with pre-authorisation, and we provide itemised receipts for reimbursement claims.

Standard blood test results are delivered within 24 hours of sample collection. Routine panels including CBC, metabolic panels, lipid profiles, thyroid function, and vitamin levels are typically ready the same evening or next morning. Specialised tests such as hormone panels, allergy profiles, or tumour markers may take 48 to 72 hours depending on the assay. Urgent markers like blood glucose and troponin are flagged immediately and communicated to you and your physician without delay.

Some tests require fasting for accurate results. A lipid panel (cholesterol and triglycerides) requires 9 to 12 hours of fasting. Fasting blood glucose and insulin tests also require an overnight fast. A comprehensive metabolic panel is most accurate when fasting. Tests like CBC, thyroid function, vitamin D, B12, and HbA1c do not require fasting. When you book, our team confirms fasting requirements based on your specific test order. We recommend scheduling fasting tests for early morning collection.

If you need a referral, our home doctor visit service can provide a consultation and order the appropriate tests during the same visit or beforehand.

Absolutely. Our home collection service uses the exact same sterile venipuncture technique, vacuum-sealed collection tubes, and temperature-controlled transport protocols as our walk-in DHCC laboratory. Samples are processed on the same accredited analysers with identical quality controls. The only difference is the location of the blood draw — the sample handling, transport chain, and laboratory analysis are indistinguishable from an in-clinic collection.
