Hurt my knee Friday night and got an MRI appointment Sunday evening (booked Sunday afternoon). Waited about 2 minutes and was done in just over 30 minutes. The team was amazing, friendly and efficient.

Dr. Osama's team was gentle and amazing. After a bad experience elsewhere, my pelvic exam here was much more professional. Great report and very precise.

When you or your child is unwell, waiting days for lab results is not practical. Our rapid diagnostic tests deliver accurate, actionable results within 15 to 30 minutes, allowing your doctor to confirm a diagnosis and start treatment during the same visit. Walk into our DHCC clinic without an appointment and leave with a clear answer and a treatment plan.
Rapid point-of-care tests use advanced immunochromatographic and antigen-detection technology to identify infections directly from a swab, urine, or stool sample. Unlike traditional laboratory cultures that require 24 to 72 hours, these tests detect viral and bacterial antigens on the spot, which means faster diagnosis, earlier treatment, and less time spent in uncertainty. Our clinic stocks rapid tests for influenza A and B, RSV, Strep A, H. pylori, urine pregnancy (HCG), and fecal occult blood.

Who Should Get Rapid Tests?
Rapid tests are ideal for patients who need an immediate answer to guide treatment decisions. They are particularly valuable during acute illness when timely diagnosis determines whether antibiotics, antivirals, or supportive care is the right course of action.
Fever with sore throat — rule out Strep A before deciding on antibiotics
Flu-like symptoms during winter season — confirm Influenza A or B for antiviral consideration
Infants and children with cough, wheezing, or bronchiolitis symptoms — RSV screening
Persistent stomach pain, bloating, or nausea — H. pylori stool antigen screening
Suspected early pregnancy — rapid urine HCG confirmation
Gastrointestinal symptoms or routine colorectal screening — fecal occult blood test

Frequently Asked Questions
Common questions about Rapid Tests in Dubai.
Rapid point-of-care tests detect pathogen-specific antigens in clinical samples within 15-30 minutes. We offer tests for influenza A/B, RSV, Strep A, H. pylori, pregnancy HCG, and fecal occult blood.
Modern rapid tests have high specificity (above 98 percent for most), meaning positive results are very reliable. Sensitivity varies by test: Strep A 85-95 percent, influenza 50-70 percent, H. pylori stool antigen above 90 percent, urine HCG above 99 percent.
A soft-tipped swab is gently inserted into one nostril for several seconds to collect respiratory secretions (brief tickling sensation, not painful). The swab is placed in reagent solution and applied to a test cassette.
A throat swab is taken from the back of the throat and tonsils (5 seconds), processed in a test kit, with results in 10-15 minutes. Get tested for severe sore throat with fever above 38 degrees, swollen lymph nodes, white patches on tonsils, and absence of cough/runny nose (which suggest viral cause).
A small stool sample is tested using monoclonal antibodies to detect H. pylori bacterial proteins, with results in 15-20 minutes.
