Dr. Yusra Alshaikh

Dr. Yusra Alshaikh is a Specialist Paediatrician with extensive training across Dubai's leading children's hospitals. She completed her pediatric residency at Al Jalila Children's Specialty Hospital, Latifa Women's and Children's Hospital, and Dubai Hospital under Dubai Health, gaining broad clinical experience in general paediatrics, acute paediatric care, and newborn medicine. Dr. Yusra holds both the Arab Board of Pediatrics (2024) and the Emirati Board of Pediatrics (2025), reflecting her advanced training and commitment to evidence-based child healthcare. She earned her MBBS from Dubai Medical College for Girls in 2017 and is licensed with the Dubai Health Authority (DHA). Her additional certifications include Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Pediatric Epilepsy Master Class, Pediatric Emergency Sonography, and Pediatric Neuromuscular workshops, equipping her to handle a wide range of paediatric conditions from routine well-baby checkups to urgent paediatric presentations. Dr. Yusra has contributed to clinical research on childhood asthma, COVID-19 management in paediatric settings, and medical student wellness.
