Yes. Our doctors carry prescription pads and can prescribe appropriate medications including antibiotics, antipyretics, antihistamines, and other common paediatric medications with precise weight-based dosing. Prescriptions can be sent electronically to your preferred pharmacy for convenience. If a controlled medication is needed, the doctor will advise on how to obtain it through the appropriate channels.

Yes, our paediatric team carries portable nebuliser machines for children who need bronchodilator therapy at home. This is particularly useful for children with wheezing, bronchiolitis, croup, or asthma exacerbations. The doctor administers the first nebulisation during the visit, monitors the child's response, and provides instructions for continued use if a home nebuliser is available. If you do not have a nebuliser at home, the doctor can advise on purchasing one.

Our home visit service is for non-emergency paediatric assessment.

Common paediatric blood tests available include complete blood count, inflammatory markers, liver and kidney function, blood cultures for suspected infection, and allergy panels. Samples are processed at our accredited laboratory with results typically available within 24 hours.

A standard paediatric home consultation takes approximately 30 to 45 minutes including history taking, full examination, treatment if needed, and a detailed discussion with parents about the diagnosis, management plan, and red flags to watch for. Newborn assessments may take slightly longer due to feeding observation and developmental checks. The doctor will spend as much time as clinically necessary and will not rush the consultation.
